I started my breeding with a silver tabby female, by the name of Ch.Ellepus’s Silver Siri, 25 years ago. The contrasts silver tabbies can show is very beautiful. The ground colour should be as silver white as possible with black tabby markings. Selective breeding over generations gives best results speaking about markings, but it's important that the other qualities follows, specially the head type, as many silver cats could have a more slight type than we wish and it's very difficult to turn f.eks. big ears to small ones.
Youngest boy, Silver Elliot is a 7’th generation from my breeding, a promising boy showing super silver white colour, quite dark markings and a lovely orange eye colour. Back almost 11 years to my oldest silver tabby lady, Pearl, she is still a beauty keeping lovely qualities.
